Portable Vital Signs Solution is a complete solution that involves a portable medical device that can be used by a patient diagnosed with COVID-19 that requires constant monitoring from home, since he does not have major affectations that involve being in intermediate or intensive care.
The device also integrates with a cloud-based software platform that allows real-time monitoring of the patient’s evolution and even monitors consolidated information from a set or groups of patients that will allow health entities and the government to track the evolution of patients diagnosed with COVID-19
PVS has 3 basic components for its operation:
Wearable device for patient use. Device equipped with the necessary technology to take the information of the patient’s vital signs (Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen Concentration, Temperature, Blood Pressure) and send it to the cloud for storage and information processing.
App for Smart Phone. App that allows the consultation of the information in real time showing the information of the patient’s vital signs
Cloud-based software platform. Software platform that allows storage and consolidation of information sent by the device. It allows access to information to authorized personnel and keeps each patient’s information encrypted to prevent it from being obtained by unauthorized personnel.
The device has the technology to take five vital signs from the patient, who must wear it fitted to his wrist.
It allows to know the value of the heart beats per minute of the patient.
Known as SpO2, it allows to determine the percentage of oxygen that the patient has in the blood.
It allows to know the systolic and diastolic pressure of the patient in his bloodstream.
It allows to know the body temperature of the patient in a continuous way.
It allows to know the patient’s breathing rate per minute.
To medical units that have symptomatic and asymptomatic patients with COVID-19 who can be referred home as they do not require attention in an intermediate care unit or intensive care, but must be continuously monitored to react quickly to a change in their symptoms.
To medical units that have patients who can be referred home and who do not require attention in an intermediate care unit or intensive care, but who must be continuously monitored to react quickly to a change in their symptomatology.
There is no large initial investment
The proposed business model is Software as a Service – SaaS, meaning that the medical entity pays an initial setup and subscription fee and then pays a monthly fee for each device for the duration of the contract which can be between 1 and 3 years
Devices Suppy
Bracelet-type medical devices are supplied to medical entities in the quantities requested. The devices can capture information and send it via Internet of Things -IoT technology
Technical Support Service
During the time of the contract technical support will be provided to the devices, which includes the initial configuration and calibration of the devices
Historical Information
The patient and the medical entities that care for the patient will have access to the patient’s information, which will always be available in the cloud and will be encrypted to ensure the confidentiality of the information.
Devices replacement
The software platform can proactively detect the presence of failures when sending the information from the device to the cloud. In such a case, it will send alerts to inform the patient’s caregiver and also to our technical support area so that the situation can be diagnosed and resolved and, if necessary, the device can be replaced immediately.
